About Marcos

2D/3D artist - environment artist - lighting artist 

Marcos is a digital artist who has participated in different roles throughout different projects. His knowledge is not only based on the creation of 3D assets and textures in different styles, but also covers fields such as the design of 3D environments, real-time lighting systems and the creation of shaders of different types.


He has a creative mind capable of facing all design problems in the most appropriate way for each project. Furthermore, his eye for optimisation means that from the very beginning his designs and mechanics are ready to be exported to any kind of platform.

During projects Marcos is a hard worker capable of brightening up the day of those around him. He has been passionate about game dev since he was a child, and the proof of this can be found in his endless efforts to learn and teach those around him. He enjoys motivating his colleagues and encouraging them to keep going. The office is definitely a better place with him on the team.

Moonshine Inc.

The main goal of Moonshine Inc. is to recreate the life of a real American moonshiner as authentically as possible. Fermentation and distillation are simulated using exact formulas. With various goals, objectives, and product demands, you will be challenged to create the best moonshine and ensure the prosperity of your business by remaining discreet and not drawing the attention of the authorities.

This is a videogame from Klabater SA, company in wich I'm working as 3D artist. Overall, I have been in charge of the development of different 3D assets ranging from industrial machinery, decorative objects, character creation (all with their corresponding texturing, topologies and rigging), environment design and lighting (day/night cycles).

Bionicle: Mask of Power

Bionicle: Masks of Power is an all-new open world adventure set in the Bionicle universe. Currently in development by Team Kanohi, Bionicle: Masks of Power retells the legendary stories of Bionicle’s initial launch in 2001. Built from the ground up in Unreal Engine 4, Mata Nui and its inhabitants have been completely re-imagined for the modern day. Revisit beloved locations and characters, enjoy thrilling open-world gameplay and get lost in the Bionicle universe all over again.

OrbWars

In OrbWars, the players assume the role of the Orb Warriors, a brand of popular action figures. They are humanoid robots who throw their powerful Orbs to combat their enemies. The game is set in the imagination of a boy called Elias. He is a regular nine-year-old by day, but at night he turns into Commander Z, master of the Orb Warriors. With the help of his favourite toys, he confronts his fears and fights against the henchmen of his greatest adversary: the Monster in the Dark.

OrbWars is an action-packed adventure that offers cooperative and competitive game modes for up to 4 players. Play with your friends locally, online, or using a combination of both.

I took the leadership of a student group focused on learning, teaching, design, development, creation and promotion of video games. Since its foundation, we have created more than 10 video games in working groups of up to 20 people. Our games have been shown in different national events as Retropolis, RetroMadrid, IngenioGame, Valencia Indie Summit...
